Yesterday, at the memorial service held for the victims and families of those affected by 9/11, songwriting legend Paul Simon gave an emotional performance of the classic Simon & Garfunkel song “The Sound of Silence.”

Singing from Ground Zero, Simon’s lyrics resonated with the crowd, and you can see the emotion on their faces as well as Simon’s. A truly touching tribute to everyone that had their life changed by the events of 9/11.
