9/11 Anniversary Immortalized with Photo Collections

With advancements in social media, the mobile web, and smartphones that have taken place over the last ten years, we’re certainly living in a different world than we were on September 11, 2001. Now, ten years later, the web is giving us a much broader view of all events through imagery, videos, tweets, Facebook updates, and much more. This was no different on the tenth anniversary.

News Corp’s The Daily – its iPad magazine has put together a slideshow for 9/11 in photos.

YouTube partnered with the New York times for a dedicated channel, and has selected a couple of handpicked videos to share on their own blog.

    it seems to me, both the vietnam memorial and the freedom tower are women and that their medium is watwer and height. tears, grief, cleansing, and achievement. i love the symbolism.
